HHELC is committed to developing partnerships with a range of organisations in order to enhance and broaden the learning experience of our pupils and students. Here are just a few of the partnerships we are currently involved in;

City of Nottingham Local education Authority | Purchaser | Consultant support
Finance HR Personnel Behaviour Support |
Nottingham Schools Trust | Member school | NST is a schools–led venture, incorporated independently and working as a partnership of member schools to promote the very best outcomes for the children and young people of Nottingham. Projects so far include commissioning annual performance reviews for all member schools, refining school performance data sets, providing 13 subject leader networks designed to meet the needs of pupils and students across the city. |
Nottingham Trent University | Tutor and host | Student placements |
National Support School | Recipient | National leaders of education (NLEs) are outstanding headteachers who, together with the staff in their schools (designated national support schools (NSS), use their skills and experience to support schools in challenging circumstances. In addition to leading their own schools, NLEs work to increase the leadership capacity of other schools to help raise standards.
HHELC has received support from a local NLE / NSS. |
NHS / CAMHS | Partner | HHELC works closely with a range of child and adolescent mental health services to ensure we best meet the needs of pupils and students who have difficulties with their emotional or behavioural well being. These can be from the statutory, voluntary and school based sector who provide support, expertise and training as required. |
Nottingham Contemporary
The Orchard |
Visitor | HHELC invests in a range of local facilities to enrich and extend the curriculum. Nottingham Contemporary is one of the largest contemporary art galleries in the UK and The Orchard is a local, outdoor learning environment used by many of our students to reduce stress, boost concentration and increase engagement. |
